Musical Improv 3: Advanced Techniques (in-person)
Six Week Course | Adults Only (18+)
Explore a variety of musical styles and song types. Duets, trios, and larger ensembles are integrated into previous material from Musical Improv 1 and 2. Advanced songwriting techniques relevant to musical improv are covered, with special attention given to working with song function and character archetypes.
At the end of this course students perform together in a graduation show.

Prerequisite: Musical Improv 2: Sing On The Spot
Schedule: 6 sessions (once a week for 6 weeks)

COVID 19 Policy: All students must be fully vaccinated. You must present your vaccination card at the beginning of the first class. You will not be admitted without it. No exceptions. Masks are now optional inside the classroom, however, you must wear a mask while inside the common areas of the San Francisco Chronicle building (lobby, bathroom, etc).
