Improv 5b: Group Mind

Six Week Course | Adults Only (18+)
How do a group of diverse individuals predict each other’s moves, seamlessly connect, and play effortlessly towards a common creation?  How does that cozy feeling of “family” happen, and how do you sustain it?  Group Mind, a cornerstone of long-form improvisation, is a crucial element to this magic.  Experience a six week group process supported by emergence theory, i.e., chaos theory, family systems theory, and experimental theatre exercises from The Committee (SF) to elicit trust, genuine in-the-moment play, and “group think.”  It’ll blow your “group” mind!

At the end of this course students perform together in a graduation show.
