Improv 4: Top Of Your Intelligence

Six Week Course | Adults Only (18+)
Del Close, influential improv teacher and director (San Francisco’s The Committee, and Chicago’s IO), instructed legendary improvisors to “play to the top of your intelligence.”  In keeping with this wisdom, Leela trains improvisers to practice specificity, connect patterns, recognize themes, and add their own unique wisdom into the mix, weaving together the personal, political, and universal for improv that leans forward.  By slowing down and thinking on the spot, you will learn to co-create riveting theatre that illuminates, challenges and transforms both the performers and the audience.

Torwards the end of this course students perform together in a student showcase.
